TL-548B Tube Length Compensation Machine After Tube Reducing – An Innovative Machine for Upgrading Heating Element Manufacturing Processes                                                                                                  
The complete automated production line consists of a tube reducing feeding machine, tube reducing machine, tube length compensation machine, including a length measurement mechanism, transfer belt conveyor, length compensation machine, and receiving and sorting machine, followed by a multifunctional integrated machine.
In conventional processes, heating elements often have inconsistent lengths after tube reducing. Most manufacturers in the industry use tube-end turning to trim the overall length. However, this process results in material waste and dust pollution, which have long been major challenges in the industry.
To address these issues, this machine innovatively adopts a length compensation and equalization process. After tube reducing, the tube is directly measured and compensated to achieve a uniform standard length. After processing, the machine automatically sorts the tubes and removes those that do not meet the length requirements. Qualified tubes are transferred to the downstream multifunctional integrated machine to complete plug removal, pin cutting, and tube-end powder gouging, enabling fully automated processing of straight heating elements.
The equipment is independently developed by our company and is equipped with a high-precision length measurement system and self-developed algorithm. A servo electric cylinder performs the length compensation, allowing the finished tube length tolerance to be stably controlled within ±1 mm.Under fully automatic operation, the machine automatically completes tube conveying, length measurement, compensation calculation, rolling compensation, and XY straightening. It is also equipped with a production counter, with a cycle time of approximately 4–6 seconds. The machine also provides comprehensive manual operation functions for parameter setting and real-time data monitoring, making commissioning, adjustment, and maintenance more convenient. The touchscreen intuitively displays all operating data, allowing operators to monitor the machine status in real time.
The equipment automatically collects and stores tube length data, while the servo transmission system ensures high compensation accuracy. The machine can be integrated with upstream and downstream equipment to form a fully automated production line, helping manufacturers reduce labor requirements and lower production costs.
